Hi there, Gladys! My oh my, what a wonderful day to talk about your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm so glad you brought your excellent question to planDisney, and it's my pleasure to lend a helping hand to make your trip as magical as can be. Let's get right to it!
This question really spoke to me, Gladys, as I'm arriving late at night just a few days before you - and also staying at
Disney's All-Star Music Resort! My planDisney pal Melissa and I expect we will get to the resort well after midnight, and I'm sure we'll be ready to hit the hay by the time we reach our room.
Don't fret for a second about your late-night arrival! There will be Cast Members available to assist you with check-in, regardless of your arrival time. We were visiting Walt Disney World earlier this year and had major flight delays that pushed our arrival to 1:00 AM - it was not an issue at all.
I do recommend completing
Online Check-In via the
My Disney Experience app so you can bypass the Front Desk and proceed directly to your room. When you complete the online check-in process, you will be able to select the approximate time you expect to arrive at All-Star Music. You'll receive a text on your arrival day confirming that your room is ready, along with the room number - so whenever you arrive, you can head straight there and get some much-needed sleep so you're ready to conquer the theme parks in the morning! In the app, you can use your mobile phone to unlock the door to your hotel room - it's really handy. Typically I'll stop by the Front Desk on another occasion to get physical room keys to use in case my phone battery is low, or if one of our kids is headed back to the room without us.
Gladys, I hope this information is helpful and that you have safe travels from Canada! I am sure you are going to have a simply magical vacation, and I hope it's full of friends, fun, and food. Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please come see us again anytime!
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
