Ahoy there, Sharon.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question for us. I’m so glad you are getting ready for your upcoming Disney cruise. Since you are wondering about the
check-in process, I am assuming your sail date is coming up really soon.
Before the magic and fun can happen, there are several requirements that need to be met at check-in when you arrive to the cruise terminal. You will need to provide
valid passports or other acceptable proof of citizenship. Additionally, if your sailing stops in other countries, an entry visa may be required based on your nationality. I suggest that you check out the “
Passports, Visas & Citizenship Documentation” page to determine what needs to be provided at check-in for your specific sailing.
You will also need to present a copy of your Online Check-In Port Arrival Form.
Please note: Online Check-In process is done between 30 to 40 days prior to sailing, depending on your
Castaway Club tier or if you are a first-time sailor.
If you have not done so, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigation App. It’s a handy-dandy Mouseketool with many features that gets “activated” when you get on the ship. My kids love the fun Disney emojis they can send through the app. You can also check out menus of all the restaurants, locate where Disney characters will show up for photos and autograph signing, as well as check out show and entertainment schedules. By the way, I am a sucker for Silent Disco onboard the ships!
As you continue to get ready for your sailing, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again if you have more questions.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
