We need to change our reservations for next week. How do we do that?

Hi there, Mike. Welcome to planDisney.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question. As someone who has needed to alter travel plans often, I truly appreciate the flexibility a Disney vacation offers. Before completely changing your reservation dates, please be sure to take a look at the availability calendar for your new dates next month.

Mike, in order to change the date of your visit, you’ll actually need to cancel your current theme park reservations and then make a new one. Before making your changes, be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if the day and park you wish to visit are available. When you’re ready to re-book, you can do so on your Disneyland mobile app by logging into your Disney account. Here’s a brief walk-through to cancel a park reservation on the Disneyland mobile app:
On the home page of the app, you’ll see “Park Reservations” with the date and park you selected previously.
Click on “Manage or Make Reservations>”
Under “My Theme Park Reservations”, click on “Cancel Reservation”.
Go ahead and follow the prompts to make the necessary cancellation.
Once you’re done with this step, you can then make theme park reservations for another date. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a new QR code.

If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us again on planDisney. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
