I need to change a my reservation and add a day

    Greetings, Leeann!!

Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited to hear that you are looking to add an extra day to your upcoming adventure. There are so many exciting things happening all over Walt Disney World Resort. The extra day will give you even more time to take in the magic. Perhaps one of the most exciting new announcements is that traditional Character Greetings are making their way back to the parks. I hope you are ready to fill your autograph book or hug your favorite character. Mickey Mouse is looking mighty dapper in his new 50th-anniversary celebration suit, so be sure to stop by and say hi!

You can make changes to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package through My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website. (These changes cannot be made on the My Disney Experience mobile app.) Select the My Plans option from the My Disney Experience drop-down menu. This page should list all the details about your upcoming stay, including your hotel information. You should see a blue link labeled "Change Reservation"  next to the hotel plans. Select this option to proceed. The next page will list all available modifications that can be made to your package. To add an additional day choose the Change option next to your travel dates. You easily can add the extra day and any additional tickets you may need in just a few moments. Room availability may impact your date modification. If there are no available rooms left in your category you may need to change your resort or room type. Vacations booked through a travel agent will not have a modification option. All changes would need to be made directly through your agent.

Leeann, If you prefer to make modifications with a friendly Cast Member you can contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and they will be delighted to help you with these modifications over the phone.

I also want to drop a quick note about Disney Park Pass reservations. All four theme parks do require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. You can check for date availability online before adding any additional tickets. This is an incredible year to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth and dates can book up quickly. If you have not made your reservation for your existing tickets, I strongly encourage you to check this item off of your magical to-do list as soon as possible. Some May dates are already showing limited availability and I would feel terrible if you missed visiting your favorite park during your stay

I hope that your upcoming travels are memorable and magical!
    We'll see ya real soon!
