Hey, howdy, hey, Rebecca!
It’s a pleasure to help out a fellow Utahn with preparations for a Disney Parks visit. I hope you have a
rootin', tootin' time!
Most changes to
theme park reservations can be made online. Simply visit the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to cancel your existing reservation, then return to that page to book a new reservation for a different date. You can also access that page from the
Disneyland mobile app. Visit the “Future Plans” screen in the app from the ☰ feature menu, then tap your reservation to open the right page of the Disneyland Resort website.
Your new theme park reservation may be made for any
available date for which your
theme park ticket is valid. If you are using a one-day ticket, the new reservation must be on a date available for the same
ticket tier or lower. If you would like to use a one-day ticket on a date for higher-tier tickets, you must first upgrade your ticket by visiting a main entrance ticket booth. If you would like to make sure you have a theme park reservation ahead of time, you may also choose to purchase a new ticket as a DIY ticket upgrade. Then take both tickets to the ticket booths to sort out canceling the original ticket and requesting a refund as an
exception to the normal policy.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Rebecca!
