Welcome to planDisney, Christine. Thanks for bringing your question to us.
Can you feel the excitement and magic in the air? I’m delighted that next week
Disneyland Resort theme parks will be reopening their gates for Guests to enjoy! ChEARs for planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth after an extended closure, Christine. As you probably know by now, during the
initial phased reopening of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, only California residents are allowed to visit based on state guidelines. Cast Members at the entrance may require valid identification to show proof of California residency. Thus, it will be important that the name on your ticket matches the name on your identification card. That will ensure you and your travel party do not encounter any issues as you get ready to start your day of fun at the theme parks! It would be a real bummer to be turned away at the gates simply because of a misspelling or an incorrect last name.
Christine, to reassign your Theme Park tickets or to change the spelling of a name, you will need to
call Disneyland Resort Technical Support at (714) 520-6222 or Disneyland Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636. There may be a bit of a wait time before connecting to a Cast Member, but your patience is greatly appreciated. Cast Members are working diligently to ensure you and all Guests have the best experience. Hopefully all your ticket issues will be squared away promptly, and your Disney vacation will be smooth sailing!
