I need to change the name on ticket

To all who come to planDisney, welcome! Hey there, William. It won’t be long until your best Disney day is here, so let’s chat about how to be ready with your theme park tickets.

The good news is that having names on theme park tickets is mostly helpful when trying to keep things organized in the Disneyland app. Once the ticket is scanned at the gate, each person will have their picture taken to be used to identify the ticket holder and the name doesn’t necessarily need to match. In fact, I’ve accidentally put my name on my husband’s ticket and we didn’t change the name and didn’t have any issues at the entrance gate. However, if you’d like things to be practically perfect, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the phone line for Tickets for assistance with updating the name.

It looks like you’re planning to visit between the spooky season and the merry season. While the resort won’t be fully decked in its holiday best for your arrival, you just might be able to catch some merry touches around the parks. To get in the spirit of things, I highly recommend taking a ride on Haunted Mansion Holiday. The gingerbread display this year is something to behold!

William, I hope this is helpful as you prepare for your visit. Please visit us again with any other questions that you might have. Until then, here’s wishing you a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
