I need to change the last name spelling of one of the tickets.

    Hiya, Shana,

Having the correct name linked to a theme park ticket can be convenient for remembering which ticket belongs to which Guest. Some promotional tickets may also require proof of eligibility in the form of a government-issued ID matching the name on the ticket. To request a name change for a ticket stored in your My Disneyland account, you may call the Tickets phone support number or chat with a Cast Member using the "Chat with Us" feature in the Disneyland mobile app.

The Disneyland Resort recently introduced new park entry gates. These gates are great for automating the process of photographing the Guest using each park ticket and electronically linking that photo with the ticket. A Cast Member may also help verify photo ID at this point for select tickets. The ticket is then activated and nontransferable. Only the Guest who first uses a ticket may use it again for park re-entry, Lightning Lane redemption, or to return to use another day of a multi-day ticket afterward. Therefore, a relatively minor thing such as a typo in the name linked to a ticket usually won't matter from that point on.

With the celebration of the 70th anniversary, it's a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort. Some of my favorite experiences are the Paint the Night parade, the new verse in the "it's a small world" attraction, and "Walt Disney – A Magical Life." What will be your favorite memory?

Have a magical time celebrating happy, Shana!
