Hey there, Brittany, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s exciting to have you here planning your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. With the
50th Anniversary Celebration bringing a host of new attractions and experiences to the resort, now is a fantastic time to visit! Hopefully, you’re looking to move the date of your trip up because you can’t contain your excitement any longer!
Brittany, modifications to your Disney Vacation Packages or Theme Park Tickets can be processed through your
My Disney Experience account in most cases. You can modify your
Vacation Package, which includes a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation and Theme Park Ticket purchase by logging into your account and locating your upcoming reservation under the My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets section. Next, select the “Change Reservation” option and find the section that you’d like to edit. Click the “Change” link and make your changes. If you run into any issues making the desired changes, I suggest reaching out to a
Reservations Cast Member. The Cast Member will have access to view your reservation and provide the modification options that are available to you. Keep in mind that modifications to your vacation package may result in additional charges due to pricing differences between your dates.
If you only purchased
Theme Park Tickets (without a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel reservation) you can move your ticket start date in your My Disney Experience Account. After logging into your My Disney Experience Account, select the tickets that you would like to edit and choose the “Change” option. You are then able to modify your ticket start dates. Again, making changes may require additional funds. If applicable, you will be prompted to pay the difference as you checkout to process the modifications.
I hope this helps, Brittany! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
