Hiya Michael,
Welcome to
planDisney! I always love seeing someone from the Buckeye State here. Are you getting excited about visiting Walt Disney World Resort this summer? Nothing beats a sun-shining Florida day. If you don’t already carry a refillable water bottle, I highly recommend it for your trip. The humidity in Orlando can be pretty overwhelming in July, so I find it is best practice to have water with me at all times. Also, pack some rain gear with you. Orlando is also well known for a stray afternoon downpour, so having a poncho will be a great asset when that occurs.
So another step for you to prepare is to get your
My Disney Experience account updated. If your Disney account is not shared between Disney+, Hulu, or any other Disney account, you can update your My Disney Experience account yourself. If your accounts aren’t linked, log in to your My Disney Experience account. Next, at the top of your screen on the left-hand side, you should see the My Disney Experience logo. Move your cursor over the logo, and the drop-down menu should appear. Under the drop-down menu, select “Profile.” Once the new page opens under the profile, select “Account Settings.” Next, you should see the option to update your birth date. Make the change and select “done.”
I hope this was helpful, Michael! Now I mentioned that if you have multiple Disney accounts that share the same login, you cannot make this change yourself. If this is the case for you, you will need to have a Cast Member from
Website Support assist to ensure this change is made across all platforms. Please come back to see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
