Hey there, Katrina, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for your question, and no worries, date changes happen to the best of us!
The good news is that changing your visit date is usually pretty straightforward, and the steps will depend a little on what type of ticket you have. Here's how it generally works at the Disneyland Resort in sunny California.
If you have a
multi-day ticket that is wholly unused, you should be able to update your
theme park reservation through the
My Plans hub on the Disneyland Resort website. This is a great spot to see all of your reservations in one place, and you can click on your theme park reservation from there to make changes. Just keep in mind that multi-day tickets need to be used within 13 days of their first use once you get started, so plan accordingly!
If your original visit date has already passed and your ticket is unused, you'll want to
reach out to a Cast Member at the Tickets line to get that sorted out. They'll be able to look at the specifics of your ticket and walk you through your options.
One other thing worth checking before you rebook: head over to the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to make sure your new date has availability at the park or parks you're planning to visit. Availability can vary quite a bit depending on the time of year, so it's always a good idea to confirm before you finalize anything.
Thanks again for stopping by, Katrina! I hope the new date works out perfectly for your trip.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
