Do I need to carry my credit card with me or will my wristband be link to my card for buying extras?

    Hi Cynthia!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

One of my favorite perks of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is the convenience of using a MagicBand throughout my vacation. MagicBands can be used to unlock your Disney Resort hotel room, enter the theme parks, check in for FastPass+ experiences, connect PhotoPass photos to your My Disney Experience account, and charge food and merchandise purchases to your Disney Resort hotel room. It's so nice to not have to reach into my purse for my wallet every time I want to make a purchase during my vacation, and I really love the convenience of opening my hotel room with a touch of my MagicBand!

You'll be asked for a credit card number when you complete your online check-in, or, you can link a credit card to your MagicBand upon arrival at your Disney Resort hotel. At the check-in desk, a Castmember will link your credit card information to your resort reservation, and have you set up a four-digit PIN number for your MagicBand. You'll need to remember the PIN number, as you'll enter it whenever you use your MagicBand to make purchases in the theme parks or resort hotels.

I hope this helps explain how magical Walt Disney World Resort's MagicBands really are! They truly help streamline and simplify our Disney vacations. Have a pixie-dusted day! - Diane W.
