Do we need a car seat to bring with us for shore excursions booked through Disney in Tortola, like the open area bus, etc. while we are on the Disney Fantasy? Our child is 2.

Hey there, Mara! Thank you for pointing your compass towards planDisney.

With Disney Port Adventures, exploring new destinations is a breeze. Disney handles your transportation so you can kick back and enjoy the journey hassle-free. Different laws apply regarding car seats for children, and these are typically not supported by many of the vehicles used to transport Guests. You should plan to have your child sit on your lap or in the seat next to you. Speaking from experience, I've been traveling with my son since he was three, and we've always felt safe. If you've got any worries, the friendly staff at the Port Adventures desk are there to answer all your questions.

Mara, I can't wait for you to see the joy on your child's face as they experience the magic of the Disney Fantasy. With seven nights on board, you'll have plenty of time to dive into all the onboard fun. From the thrill of Pirate Night on Tuesday to the giggles at Nemo’s Reef and those priceless moments with beloved characters, your little one is in for an unforgettable adventure!

Make sure you have the latest version of the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app downloaded to your phone so you can explore the daily activity schedule as soon as you connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi. The app will also send you important reminders and information about your Port Adventures. Bon voyage, and may your journey be filled with endless magic and memories!

    SEAS the adventure!
