I need to cancel my upcoming trip to Vero Beach Resort from 11/8-11/13. How is that done?

    Hiya, Catherine!

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks so much for dropping by with your question.  Aw, shucks! I hate to hear that your plans for your upcoming visit to Disney's Vero Beach Resort have changed.  I've had to make last-minute cancellations at a Disney Vacation Club Resort in the past, too, and I know how disappointing it feels to make that call.  While I'm sorry that your vacation is on hold, I'm happy to share a few details about canceling your reservation to make the process as easy as possible.

If you're a Disney Vacation Club Member, whether you're using your Vacation Points or you've booked a cash stay, you'll want to give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 to cancel your reservation.  Typically, any Vacation Points from a stay that is canceled less than 31 days before check-in will be placed into your Holding Account, but I recommend verifying this with the Cast Member on the phone to double-check how canceled Points reservations are being handled. If you're not a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can call the Resort at (772) 734-2000 to cancel your existing reservation.

Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Catherine.  I'm so sorry that plans for your visit to Disney's Vero Beach Resort have changed, but I hope you'll be able to reschedule and enjoy a stay at the idyllic beach retreat again soon!

    Have a Magical Day,
