If I need to cancel my trip are my tickets refundable?

    Hiya Kathleen,

Welcome to planDisney! It is never fun when our plans change, so I’m sorry you are considering canceling your upcoming vacation. But as the saying goes, “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow,” and even if your plans do need to change, the magic will still be there.

That said, Kathleen, Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The good news is that you can apply the amount you paid for your tickets to a future ticket or date. The one caveat is that if the new Theme Park ticket value is less than your current Theme Park tickets, you will not be refunded the difference. If you aren’t sure what date you will be able to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth, make sure to hang on to your confirmation number and email so that when you decide on your new dates, you have that handy.

I hope this was helpful, Kathleen. If you need anything else, please come back and see us. I know canceling is always sad, but no matter when you visit, I know it will be magical.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.

Hey Y'all! I’m Ashley and I live in Texas. My family and I love trying out the yummy snacks (DOLE Whip anyone!) and taking full advantage of our resort days. When we are not piloting the Millennium Falcon, exploring Kilimanjaro Safaris, or watching fireworks, you can find me planning our next adventure to Walt Disney World! I am so excited that you are planning a trip, and I look forward to helping you dig a little deeper and find the magic in all of the wonders of Walt Disney World Resort. Learn More About Ashley
