    Need to cancel resort reservation

    Hey there, ELGAN!

Thanks for visiting us here at planDisney. Gosh, I'm sorry to hear you need to cancel your resort reservation. While you don't mention your specific vacation details, I am going to take a guess that you had plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and you now need to change those plans. On a few occasions in the past, I have had to cancel my Disney destination vacation reservations for various reasons. I can understand there's a feeling of disappointment. It's my sincere hope that you can look forward to a great, big, beautiful tomorrow when you can make all your plans anew!

Depending on how you booked your Walt Disney World Resort reservation, you have a few options to cancel a Resort hotel reservation. You might be able to sign in to your Disney account and go to your My Disney Experience area and look for "My Plans." If you see your reservation displayed, you should see an option to modify or update the reservation, and this would give you an option to cancel the reservation. You can also contact Walt Disney World Resort and call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936 to get assistance.

I hope this information is helpful as you change your vacation plans. More importantly, I hope you get the opportunity to make new Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans. As Mickey says, "See ya real soon!"

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
