    If I need to cancel my hotel reservations will I get my deposit back?

    Hey there, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your question.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are considering canceling your upcoming spring vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! But just like our favorite little chef Remy said, "Change is nature," and unfortunately, sometimes our plans change. Chef Gusteau offered the best advice when he said, "If you focus on what you left behind, you will never be able to see what lies ahead." So, if you must cancel, let's move forward, mon ami.

    Melissa, you will be happy to hear that as long as you cancel your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation at least five days before your arrival date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. To cancel, log in to your My Disney Experience account and click "My Plans." If your reservation is eligible for online cancellation, you will see a "Cancel Reservation" link next to the Resort reservation. If you don’t see the Cancel button, just call (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 939-7429 to cancel. Once you cancel, the deposit will be refunded to the card that was charged to book the reservation.

    While canceling a vacation is never magical, I hope that this was helpful. But let's not say "Goodbye." Instead, let's just say, "See ya real soon!"
