Hello there Nelly! Thank you so much for bringing your question to planDisney.
You cannot apply the funds for a credit or gift card, but you do have a few options. First, I'm going to assume that the ticket has not been used yet, and if so, you can invite another friend or family member to join you on your trip! If the ticket has not been used, it can be assigned to the new friend or family member joining you upon entry once it is scanned.
Another option would be to cancel your current
theme park reservation dates and book for a new date. I would check the
theme park reservation availability calendar before canceling, but you could move the dates of your trip completely if that means all of your party can attend! You could also save that one ticket for a future trip. I would check the expiration date of your specific ticket, but
one-day tickets that are purchased through the
Disneyland site or
Disneyland app are valid now through December 20, 2024, and
multi-day tickets must be used within 13 days of first use or by January 12, 2025, whichever comes first.
Since you will be visiting here soon, I would
explore dining options and try to
make any dining reservations as soon as you can! Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Some of our favorite places to make reservations at include
Carnation Café in
Disneyland Park and
Lamplight Lounge in
Disney California Adventure Park.
I hope these options give you some flexibility for your upcoming trip Nelly, and if you have any other questions,
please do not hesitate to reach back out!
Have a magical day!
Melissa
