Hi there! Welcome to planDisney, Mary!
Isn't planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation so much fun? I just love exploring restaurant options, reading up on what is new and exciting, and putting together a fun and fantastic itinerary for my family. It seems like you're already off to a great start having already made some
Advanced Dining Reservations for your upcoming vacation. You're a vacation planning master, Mary! But, we all know that plans change, so I'm happy to say that canceling an Advanced Dining Reservation is as easy as can be!
The easiest way to cancel your Advanced Dining Reservation is via the
My Disney Experience app. You'll want to start by opening the app and making sure you are logged into your My Disney Experience account. From there, click on the menu bottom on the lower right-hand corner (three vertically stacked lines). Select "Future Plans," then scroll down and click on the reservation you would like to cancel. This will open up your reservation details, and you will see an option to cancel. Click on this, and it will ask you to confirm that you would like to go ahead and confirm the cancellation, and you are all set! Another option would be to call the Guest Relations team at (407) 939-3463, and a Cast Member will be happy to help you with this.
Mary, do make sure that you are familiar with the restaurant reservation cancellation policy ahead of your visit. Should you no longer be able to attend your reservation, make sure you cancel at least one day before your scheduled dining time, or a $10.00 per person
late cancellation fee (this amount is subject to change) will be charged to the card put on file at the time of booking. It's important to keep this in mind as your visit approaches, and you start to really finalize your daily plans. If I'm still on the fence about an Advanced Dining Reservation I've secured, I like to set a reminder on my phone for 23 hours before to make sure I cancel in time if I decide to skip it.
I hope this answer has been helpful for you! We are a big bunch of Disney foodies here at planDisney, so please feel free to stop by again with another question if you'd like to hear some of our recommendations.
Happy planning!
