Do I need to buy park tickets before making Bippity Boppity Boutique, Akershus, and other dining reservations? We’re 62 days out so need to be prepared to book in 2 days! Also, are park tickets tied to certain dates?

    Welcome to planDisney, Emma!

Your window for purchasing some of the most magical experiences at Walt Disney World is about to open--how exciting!

Emma, the short answer to your question about buying theme park tickets prior to making Advanced Dining Reservations and a session at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is you do not need to do so first. This makes your reservation process a bit less complicated as you can just focus on the itinerary when that window opens. Phew!

That being said, in order to get to locations that are within a theme park, you will need a park ticket. You'll have a few options for which tickets are right for you, so consider your touring plans prior to purchasing. Check out this Family Vacation Guide for some really helpful information, too. For example, the 4-Park Magic Ticket allows you to enter each of the four theme parks once for a total of 4 admissions on 4 separate days. Another option is getting Theme Park Tickets that include the Park Hopper Option. This version allows you to hop among the four parks on each of the days you have tickets. These tickets are all based on specific dates of your visit, so pricing will vary accordingly.

Wishing you pixie dust as your window opens: may you find all that you need and so much more!

Emma, as you plan so much fun throughout your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
