    Do I need to buy individual lightning lane in advance? Or do I only buy the morning of?

    Welcome to planDisney, Manisha!  We are glad you brought this important question to us.

    Lightning Lane reservations may only be made on the date you plan to visit.  All Guests who have purchased Disney Genie+ service may reserve Lightning Lane access for the next available return window to over 40 rides and attractions, one at a time, beginning at 7:00 am.  Additional selections may be made after redeeming the first, or every two hours beginning two hours after park opening time, whichever comes first.

    Certain attractions have been designated as Individual Lightning Lane attractions.  Until August 7, 2022, Individual Lightning Lane experiences are:

    Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will also have a Virtual Queue available at no cost; Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, and Avatar Flight of Passage will also offer a traditional standby queue.

    Individual Lightning Lane attractions are purchased a la carte, with a limit of up to two different Individual Lightning Lane attractions per day.  Disney Genie+ service is not required to purchase Individual Lightning Lanes.  Guests who are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Shades of Green, or the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels may purchase Individual Lightning Lane attractions beginning at 7:00 am.  All other Guests may purchase at the scheduled park opening time.
