I need Bus directions for Hoop De Doo from Magic Kingdom. People in our party do not want to ride the boats. I have heard bus transportation can be tricky.

Hi Stacy! Wow, is there anyway to convince your party to take the boat to Fort Wilderness? This is by far the best and easiest and fastest way to get to the great show, Hoop Dee Doo.

The boats are quite large and strollers, ECV's, and wheelchairs are allowed on them without any issue. You can choose to sit inside or outside and all seating is on one level (no upstairs seating). I have taken these boats many, many times and even in the worst weather have never felt any wave action. They offer an extremely smooth ride. Once you arrive at the Fort Wilderness docks it is a very short walk to the show.

If you have someone who just won't take the boats then I suggest a taxi is your next best solution. You can walk to the Contemporary resort or find one at the Transportation and Ticket Center. Taxis will then take you to the front of Fort Wilderness where you will be dropped off. You will need to then catch an internal bus to get to the other end of the resort where the Hoop Dee Doo show is held. This of course would take twice as long or more then using the boats.

Your third choice is taking a bus but it would have to be a roundabout way for sure and would take likely over an hour or more. You would need to get to another park and then hop on a Fort Wilderness bus from there. Again it will drop you off in the front and you would need to take the internal bus to reach Hoop Dee Doo. There are no buses that run between Fort Wilderness and the Magic Kingdom.

So I certainly hope you can convince your party members how easy and quick the boats are to reach your show reservation. I know you will all have a great time that night!
