Do I need to bring towels or are the provided at the Lagoon and Blizzard Beach if I am staying at the resort? I think I read they are not furnished at the resort pools is that right?

Hello Gloria, thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I am so excited that you might be visiting the Walt Disney World Water Parks during your vacation. Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park are both so much fun. I think you'll be happy to know, that if you are a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guest, you'll be able to get complimentary beach towels for you to use at both of the water parks. You'll also find complimentary towels for use at any of the pools around your Resort Hotel. Isn't that great news? It's less you'll have to pack and lug around with you during the day. Just grab your suits, shades and some sunscreen and you'll be on your way.

If you visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, be sure not to miss the Surf Pool which sends 6-foot swells barreling out all day long. This wave pool is the largest in North America and is my very favorite attraction in the park. At Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, Summit Plummet is my daughter's do-not-miss attraction. This waterslide plummets you 12 stories, almost straight down, in what seems like the blink of an eye. It's so tall and so fast, a definite must for the thrill seekers in your group.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
