Do I need to bring my son's birth certificate to show he is under 3 yrs?

    Hi Kristin!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I'm excited to answer questions from fellow Californians traveling to the Happiest Place on Earth with with their little ones!
For the most part, parents can vouch for their kids without having to show proof of age.
In my experience, I've never seen a Cast Member asking to verify a child's age.
That's because the Disneyland Resort trusts its guests enough to know they would pay for an admission ticket if required.
What I do think you should pack is sunscreen lotion and a change of clothes in case you decide to make it over to the Disney California Adventure Park and your little one wants to splash away and have soaking wet fun at the Princess Dot Puddle Park, located inside "it's a bug's land". It's so much fun to watch them play there and a perfect summer activity!
Have a Magical time and a Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Day!
