I see that we need to bring small bills for those late night snack orders from room service. Can you give me a suggested customary amount for items that are "free".

    Ahoy again Twyla –
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your cruise is coming up soon, and I bet you are so excited. Sharing your cruise plans brings me happy memories of my time on the Fantasy last month, so thanks for including us! My crew absolutely loves ordering complimentary Room Service, and after many late night dance parties, we found ourselves eating breakfast in our stateroom many mornings (ahem…should I say late afternoon?) because we often missed the last breakfast in Cabanas. We also loved those late afternoon snacks of Big Island Cookies which were served warm along with milk. I do not care to bring a bunch of bills for tipping, and I was relieved to see that when the food trays were brought, there was an area on the receipt to add in an optional tip if desired.  I usually tip about $1 per person when ordering from Room Service, and I was able to write that down on the receipt. At the end of the cruise, we received a final statement of charges made onboard and all the Room Service tips were listed there. If you prefer to bring cash, it is acceptable to use as well. There are no guidelines for Room Service gratuity and guests should use their discretion when tipping. Twyla, I hope this helps with your planning, and if not, please feel free to come back and visit with us again!
