Welcome back to planDisney, Patricia! As the planner in my family, I certainly can appreciate wanting to be well prepared so that I do not bump into any unforeseen circumstances when kicking off my
Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
You are correct that since you do not yet have your Florida driver’s license with Florida address, you will need other current proof of residency documents (within two months) to purchase a Florida Resident Annual Pass. H
ere is a list of other acceptable ways to show residency, but your plan for showing a bank statement with your Florida address, again, as long as it is dated within two months at the time of purchase, will suffice!
Depending on their ages, your grandchildren may or may not need to provide proof of residency. If they are under 18, you can purchase their Florida resident annual passes on their behalf. If they are over 18, they would be subject to the same proof of residency guidelines as you. So, a Florida driver’s license with a Florida address or utility bill (power, phone, water, etc.) would work!
If you are anything like me, you not only research what you want to do but also your other options in the event things don’t go as planned. So don’t forget that the number of
annual passes is limited and may become unavailable at any time. You may want to check out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to see what other options you may have for your upcoming visit!
I hope you and your family have plenty of fantastic Disney World visits in the future, Patricia. If you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions, please revisit us here at planDisney, or feel free to
ask me a question directly!
