Do we need to bring proof of being fully vaccinated to be unmasked in certain areas?

    Hello Adam,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I know that your visit to The World's Most Magical Celebration will be filled with memorable moments! October is a great month to visit. The weather is usually warm and pleasant, the parks are decorated for fall, and EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is in full swing.

Policies about face coverings in Walt Disney World are updated relatively frequently, and it's likely that they will be different in October when you visit than they are now. Currently vaccinated guests are only required to wear masks while riding enclosed transportation, like monorails, Disney Skyliner, and buses. Non-vaccinated guests should continue to wear face coverings at all indoor locations, including transportation. While Walt Disney World encourages guests to be vaccinated, cast members will not ask for proof of vaccination status.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
    Diane

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
