Bonjour and Bienvenue, Eilis!
It sounds like your next
adventure in the great wide somewhere includes a visit to
Disneyland Paris. How wonderful! Because I'm not sure when I'll once again be making magic across the Atlantic, I'm delighted you stopped by planDisney with your question so that I can pretend I'm also preparing to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. towards Sleeping Beauty Castle. Don't you agree that she's the
fairest of them all?
As you mentioned, you'll need to present your
theme park tickets for scanning before you can proceed through the turnstiles of Disneyland Park or Walt Disney Studios Park. At this time, Disneyland Paris policy requires that Guests be prepared to provide proof of identity with an official document (such as a passport) if requested by a Cast Member in order to validate a theme park ticket. While I have yet to personally experience such a request, policies like these are implemented at individual Cast Member discretion, so you'll want to be prepared with the proper identification just in case.
One final piece of advice before I bid you
adieu: If you'll be staying at a Disney Hotel, you'll need to provide the lead Guest's passport upon arrival at hotel reception, so be sure to have it handy! To expedite the check-in process, you can conveniently provide your details in the Disneyland Paris mobile app to utilize
mobile check-in before your arrival. Just like magic!
I hope this helps, Eilis! If you need any additional assistance as you finalize the details for your upcoming visit, feel free to come see us again. You've got a friend in
planDisney!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
