Hey there, hi there, ho there, Lindsay! This is such a good question, so I’m ecstatic you sailed by planDisney for an answer.
I’m happy to report that when you disembark to enjoy the day at one of Disney’s island getaways, you only need to bring your Key to the World Card and your government-issued photo ID (just make sure it’s your physical ID; photocopies and digital versions will not suffice). If your ship is compatible with
DisneyBand+, you can use that in place of your KTTW Card.
Even though Disney Cruise Line recommends you travel with a passport, you’ll want to leave passports and birth certificates in your stateroom safe when playing in the sun and sea at
Castaway Cay and
Lookout Cay. For added measure, you can reference the accepted
citizenship documentation for each sailing.
It looks like you may be embarking upon a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise this September. If so, get ready for some not-so-spooky fun with your favorite Disney pals in their finest Halloween costumes. Whether or not you decide to dress up is completely up to you, but I can guarantee you’ll find a lot of fellow scalawags donning pirate garb for the
Deck Party, as well as
Character Greetings.
No matter when you sail with Disney, it’s sure to delight and amaze your entire crew. If you think of any other way we can help you prepare for your trip, don’t hesitate to head back to us here at
planDisney!
Bon voyage,
Sami
