Do we need to bring our own beach toys (shovels, pails, etc.) to Castaway Cay?

    Hi Sarah!

Oh, I'm jealous just thinking about you enjoying Castaway Cay! Well, your question has 2 answers...

No, you don't need to bring your own beach toys because Castaway Cay sells them right there! Plus they are Disney-fied and will be a great souvenir!

Yes, you want to bring your own beach toys because the ones they sell at Castaway Cay are much more expensive than anything you'd ever buy anywhere else.

Last time I went on a Disney cruise I was with my my two children and my niece. We bought all the beach toys and gear at one of the other ports and took it with us to Castaway Cay.

If you're thinking of snorkeling gear or floats, it sometimes pays to wait until the end of the day---lots of people just leave them on the ground instead of returning it. You can snag it for a few minutes and then return it for them!

Enjoy your cruise! It will be spectacular!
