Do we need to bring ID to verify our child's age if they're under 3?

    Welcome to planDisney, Jessica!

Little friends of our pal Mickey Mouse, are all welcome to join in pint-sized fun at Walt Disney World Resort. Little people aged 3 to 9 years of age, do require valid theme park admission, as reflected in theme park ticket pricing. I remember clearly, when my children were toddlers, worrying about whether or not I had to show proof of age, and after countless visits with them, I was never asked to present any proof of age when they were 2 years of age and younger. I did, however, have a photocopy of their valid passports with me, just in case, which took care of that little nagging feeling of concern of being asked for proof.

Jessica, when making your Disney Dining reservations please include all in your travel party when selecting the number of Guests who will dine, even though our Guests under the age of 3 will not be charged - this is because tables will need to be set accordingly with any needed high chairs for the comfort and safety capacities of all Guests and for our dining room servers considerations.

In preparation for your visit, please refer to Disney’s Planning Guide for Parents of Preschoolers & Small Children - a resource filled with pertinent information to make your visit with your precious children the most convenient it can be so you can be free to create lifelong memories. I remember with great fondness our many visits to the Baby Care Centers in each theme park throughout the day to diaper, feed, nap the babies, and even prep them for bed before we left the park so that I could just place them straight to bed upon arriving back in our Guest Room - oh my, how the yEARS flew by.

Jessica, I really hope you consider adding Disney’s Memory Maker to your Disney PhotoPass Service account - those precious photos of everyone in your travel party are priceless - these will be memories you will reflect upon for years to come - take this from a mom whose now-adult children grew up with Disney - I don’t know where 21-years went.
