Do I need to bring ID as a California resident ticket and what can I bring instead if I lost it?

Hi Natalie! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to ask us your question.

It's always so fun to plan a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, and your time to arrive will be here in just a few weeks! If you have purchased a California Resident Ticket, you must provide a government-issued photo ID at the time of entry for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. Unfortunately, there is no other form of ID that is accepted. Because a valid government-issued photo ID showing an address within a valid ZIP code is required for entry into the park, I recommend getting a replacement for your ID before you arrive. I'm sorry. I know this isn't the news you are hoping for, however, the requirements for purchasing and using a California Resident Ticket are very specific.

The magic at the Disneyland Resort awaits you! I hope this information helps with your planning and that you can get your ID replaced. Be sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App before you arrive to have easy access to your Theme Park Ticket. If you have more planning questions, we would be happy to answer them at planDisney

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
