Welcome to planDisney, David!
Thank you for visiting us today with a great question! We are happy to assist you as you plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation for your family!
I have been visiting
The Most Magical Place on Earth with my daughter since she was little and we have never brought any type of identification to the parks. She is now 10-years-old and we will be visiting soon with our youngest daughter who is almost 2-years-old. Although we are international Guests, I do not plan to take their passports to the theme parks because we have not been requested to present identification in the past. If it makes you feel more comfortable, you could keep a digital copy of his birth certificate on your mobile device and leave an original copy back at your hotel in the in-room safe.
Since your son is 10-years-old and you have purchased the correct ticket type (Ages 10+), you are good to go! Be sure to
link tickets to My Disney Experience, make
Disney Park Pass reservations, and present a
MagicBand, a
Disney MagicMobile pass, a ticket card, or a Key to the World card (available for Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel) at park entrance to redeem admission.
I hope this information is helpful, David! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and check our
Panel Extras for more tips and advice!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
