Hiya, Paul!
Welcome to planDisney! It's my pleasure to help a fellow Texan.
Oh boy! You'll be at The Happiest Place on Earth so soon, Paul! I bet you're getting so excited. I'm very happy to share that there isn't much that you need when visiting Mickey and his pals. If you have physical
Theme Park Admission Tickets, everything should be stored between the barcode of the ticket and the
My Disneyland Account used to make your
Park Pass Reservations. If you're going to rely on the
Disneyland Mobile App to use as your park ticket,
Lightning Lane reservation,
PhotoPass, and more, then all you really need to bring is your phone!
Bonus Tip: While it's not necessary to bring a printed copy of your reservation or park ticket, I like to take a screenshot or save the confirmation email so I can reference it just in case a problem pops up.
Those are the only official things you need to have the Best! Disneyland! Day! Ever! I like to bring a few more things with me, like a water bottle, an external battery charger, and a poncho if rain is in the forecast. But I think the next most important thing after tickets and your phone would be to bring a government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license or U.S. Passport) so you can validate your age when purchasing adult beverages. I accidentally left my in the hotel one time and it wasn't so magical. lEARn from my mistake!
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Paul, and to better plan your upcoming Disney days! Be sure to follow the
