Do I need to bring my child's birth certificate to show that they are under the age of 3?

    Welcome to planDisney, Melissa!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your great question about visiting Walt Disney World Resort theme parks with young Mouseketeers!

Melissa, as the mom of two Mouseketeers-in-training myself, we visited the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks many times while they were still under the age of 3.

We never had to provide their birth certificates in order to prove that they were under the age of 3. However, if your child appears to be older than 3, you may be asked their age. I encourage you to keep a picture of their birth certificate on your phone so that you do not have to travel with such an important and hard to replace document.

As you plan your upcoming vacation, I suggest checking out this “traveling with preschool kids and little ones” guide! It is chock-full of tips about traveling “the World” with young children.

If you have any other questions, please visit planDisney again. We are all EARS!
