Do I need to bring a booster seat for my five year old for the transport from the airport to resort? Will I need a booster seat for the plane?

    Hi Kimberley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner! You must be getting so excited!! Are you keeping up with the Disney Parks Blog to find out about any last-minute additions such as new merchandise, snacks, and other additions?

For the sake of not having one more thing to bring with you, I'm very happy to say that no, your Mouseketeer will not need a booster seat on Disney's Magical Express. Should you bring a car seat with you, it will actually be stored with the rest of the luggage in an underneath compartment. Most airlines also do not require children to be in safety seats, so you should be fine leaving it behind. (But check your individual airline just to be sure.)

Should you want a transportation option that does utilize child restraints, check out Disney's Minnie Van Service. These dotted vehicles are owned by Disney and operated by vetted Disney Cast Members, but the cherry on top is that each vehicle comes with the included use of two car seats! You'll regularly see them driving all over Walt Disney World Resort, and these vehicles will even make airport runs.

I hope this helped, Kimberley, and We'll See You Real Soon!

PS - The Disney-fied Magical Express motorcoaches will show clips of all of the Disney fun you'll experience during your stay. But they'll also feature some Disney trivia, so start brushing up now!
