Do we need to bring beach towels for the pool?

    Hi Brenda,

Great question! Unfortunately, it's one that I feel like has an answer that changes every now and then.

It's been my personal experience that the Deluxe and Moderate resort hotels always have towels readily available poolside.

However, I keep hearing "it depends on the time of year" when it comes to having towels available poolside at the Value resorts (i.e. Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, and Disney's Art of Animation Resort).

If you happen to find that towels are not available poolside during your vacation, feel free to bring the towels from your bathroom and just call "Mousekeeping" from your in-room phone and ask them to bring you a few fresh ones. That way, you can have a set for the pool and a set for your bathroom.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

New beach towel designs are regularly rolled out in the gift shops around the theme parks and resort hotels. I still have one that I bought 20 years ago, so not only are they really cool, but they're really well made also! That might be a fun alternative if you want stand out with something a little funkier than the plain white towels that everyone else will be using!

I hope that helps and I hope you have an awesome vacation!!

    Best regards,
    Derek
