Ahoy there, Maggie!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question for us. It looks like your cruise countdown is down to single digit! You must be getting excited and I’m so happy for you!
It looks like you’re also getting ready to pack for your upcoming trip. Rest assure that you do not need to bring beach towels from home when you board your cruise. There will be plenty of beach towels available throughout the
pool decks.
When disembarking to enjoy your port of calls, there will also be beach towels available for you to grab as you leave the ship. This will also be the case when you arrive to Castaway Cay or Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. After a fun day on your excursions, just simply return your used beach towels in designated bins as you re-board the ship.
Not having to bring your own beach towels means you have more space in your luggage for souvenirs and Disney Cruise Line merchandise!
Mickey’s Mainsail,
White Caps and
Sea Treasures (depending on your ship) have large selections of signature Disney Cruise Line collectibles, apparel and souvenirs. Also, if there is any merchandise that tickles your fancy at
Castaway Cay or
Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, be sure to purchase it while you’re on the private island; unique items are only sold there and not on the ships. I made that unfortunate mistake during our very first visit to Castaway Cay.
I hope this helps as you continue getting ready for your cruise, Maggie. As always, please drop by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Wishing you a magical cruise,
Kiki
