Hi Stephanie,
You have come to the right place! At planDisney, we are excited to help you plan a Disney vacation - whether this is your first trip to Walt Disney World or you've been many times, we are here to help. Let me walk you through what I do first when planning a Walt Disney World vacation.
There is a great website for
Walt Disney World vacation planning. I suggest that you take a look at that for great information and links. You can also start to plan your Walt Disney World vacation and build a package online.
Before booking anything, I suggest that you have a
My Disney Experience account set up. Your My Disney Experience account is where you will manage the pieces of your vacation, from your resort hotel reservation to your theme park tickets and dining reservations.
There are many different pieces to think about when booking a Walt Disney World vacation. You will need to consider accommodations. Walt Disney World has so many
resort hotels that are different for many different sizes of travel parties and budgets. Next, I would suggest considering how many days you want to head to theme parks and think about your
theme park tickets. Another party to consider is where you might want to
dine, and if you might like to make any dining reservations.
While you are planning, I also suggest that you check out the
Walt Disney World special offers page. This page offers deals and discounts, often for select groups such as Disney+ subscribers or members of the military. These can be on accommodations, tickets, and so on.
You can start to plan your
Walt Disney World vacation online. Using the link I just provided, or many of the links above, you will be able to book your vacation online. The steps tend to be laid out online for you from each of the links. If you prefer to speak with someone, you can call 407-939-5277 and follow the prompts for assistance with booking your vacation.
I know that this may seem like a lot, Stephanie. I think that many of us on planDisney consider the planning to be a part of the fun of a Walt Disney World vacation. It allows us to think about the magic before we are there! Just take it one step at a time, and do feel free to come back if you have any further questions.
