Hi there, Rhonda, and a very royal welcome to planDisney! It's always a treat to meet a fellow Disney Princess aficionado, and I'm happy to help with your question today.
How sweet that you have double the fun for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort trip! I'm sorry you're having trouble booking appointments for the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in
Magic Kingdom Park. This is an experience that my girls loved when they were younger, and it was very special to watch them receive a royal makeover from one of the Fairy Godmother's apprentices.
Appointments for the Boutique are in high demand and often do fill up quickly at the 60-day mark. If you'll be at Walt Disney World for more than one day, I recommend looking at other dates to see if you can find slots for your twins. Occasionally walk-up appointments may be available, but it could be tricky to secure two at the same time. Guests' plans do change, so you can also check at the 24-hour mark before your desired time to see if any bookings are released.
If you can't snag these dual appointments, don't fret! There are plenty of ways to have the princess experience beyond the boutique. Many local makeup artists in the Orlando area will come to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for in-room princess makeovers--if you take a look on social media, you can find lots of inspiration for some unique looks inspired by favorite characters! You can also purchase royal attire in many locations around the parks, or pack your own. My girls always found great princess gowns from the
Disney Store, so we would pack those and save some money to purchase royal accessories or other must-have souvenirs at the parks.
For some additional royal experiences, book a meal at
Cinderella's Royal Table (Magic Kingdom Park) or
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (
EPCOT). Both restaurants offer a great sit-down meal--always nice for a break during a long day in the parks--and wonderful opportunities to meet several Disney Princesses at once and get photos and autographs. You can also find more royal pals at Princess Fairytale Hall in the Magic Kingdom, or greeting Guests around World Showcase Lagoon at EPCOT.
Rhonda, I hope these princess tips are helpful for your planning purposes! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, and please don't hesitate to reach out again if we can help with any other questions to add a little extra pixie dust to your vacation.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
