Welcome, Grandma of the Year! Sounds like you have a very special visit coming up to the Happiest Place on Earth, with a very special person! Pure magic!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. Currently, to visit a theme park at Disneyland Resort each Guest will need both a valid theme park ticket, as well as a theme park reservation for each day, so nice work getting started, Toni!
To make theme park reservations, you'll need to first link your grandson's theme park ticket to your Disney Account, if you haven't done so already. Simply hover over "My Disneyland" at the top of
the Disneyland website and select "Link Tickets and Passes." You'll then be asked to enter the ticket ID number - which should be located underneath the barcode. After your tickets are linked, head over to "
Make or Modify Park Reservations" and select "Book Theme Park Reservation" to begin the selection process. Hope that helps!
I'm happy to share that you can also change your reservation dates at any time, Toni, if there's availability. You can do this in either the
Disneyland app (from the ☰, select "Park Reservations" under Plan My Next Visit) or on the Disneyland website. Tip: If you're staying off property, Toni, I recommend making a park reservation for the park that does not have Early Entry offered that day, to avoid those crowds. The Early Entry hours can be found on the
Daily Events Schedule.
I hope I was able to provide some helpful information for you, Toni! As you continue to prepare for a visit to Disneyland, I'd love to
share more of my tips and recommendations for a truly magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth during "Celebrate Happy" at
Disneyland's 70th Celebration! The parks are so sparkly right now! I'm especially blown away by all the entertainment offerings. The Muppets even have a nighttime show at the beginning of
World of Color Happiness! and it's everything we hoped it would be.
But no matter how you decide to spend your time during your visit, Toni, you and your grandson will be making memories together that will last a lifetime - because you're the magic, Grandma.
