Bon appetit, Michelle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and welcome to the Disney Annual Passholder family! I'm so glad you stopped by today with your question about the Disney Dining Plan for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Let's dig in!
The
Disney Dining Plan is such a convenient way to plan and pay for all the fabulous food you'll be enjoying at Walt Disney World. From signature dining to a quick snack, the Disney Dining Plan has you covered.
Typically, Guests purchase the Disney Dining Plan as part of a
vacation package that includes a Disney Resort hotel stay and Theme Park tickets. But
Annual Passholders may reserve what Disney calls a "ticketless package" with a room-only reservation and dining plan. My understanding is that a ticketless package can only be booked by
calling the Disney reservations number, where a helpful Cast Member should be able to build a vacation package that fits your family's needs, including a Disney Dining Plan. Then when you get a rumbly in your tumbly in the middle of a busyTheme Park day, just a scan of your
MagicBand can have you
dipping a spoon into a yummy Dole Whip before you can say "oh bother!"
Michelle, if you're planning to visit Walt Disney World multiple times with your Annual Passes, you might want to consider a
Tables in Wonderland membership. After an initial fee, you'll get a
discount on meals at many Walt Disney World restaurants, and you only need one membership for your whole family (up to 10 people). I'd crunch some numbers and see which option might work best for you.
I hope this helps you plan some scrumptious dining experiences at Walt Disney World, Michelle! Please come see us again if you have any more questions. We love to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
