Bonjour Evan,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow traveller from La Belle Province!
You’ve asked a great question. I love being able to visit more than one Theme Park in a day during my visits to Walt Disney World Resort. I mean, there are just some days when I need to have my coffee from
Main Street Bakery and then go ride the
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at Magic Kingdom Park in the morning and then hop over to
EPCOT for a margarita and dinner “Around the World” at night!
I’m happy to say that, typically as of 2 pm, if you have the
Park Hopper Option added to your Theme Park Tickets, you can hop straight to whichever park strikes your fancy, without needing to make a second
Theme Park Reservation for that day.
That said, there are some days when a given Theme Park (often
Magic Kingdom Park) is closed for Park Hopping, temporarily or for the rest of the day. There are also some days where the option may be available even earlier, depending on the day and park. You also have to make sure that you actually entered the Theme Park for which you held a valid reservation before heading to another park.
Tip: When it comes time for you to “hop”, I’d recommend consulting the "Park Hours & Info" section of your
My Disney Experience Mobile App to make sure that park is still available to visit. When in doubt, please visit
Guest Relations at any one of the Theme Parks for more information about what your options are for the rest of your Disney Day.
I hope my answer helps you hippity hop to your heart’s content during your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également
nous poser des questions en Français!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
