Hi Maryam and
bienvenue to planDisney!
Wow, your trip to
Disneyland Paris is only a couple of days away - it doesn't get much more exciting than that and now that the
Disney Halloween Festival is in full-swing, there is even more for you to enjoy, once you arrive.
I completely understand that you want to make your wife's first visit and birthday trip super special but, unfortunately, if the
Reserved Viewing Area is fully booked for the dates of your visit, it will not be possible for you to watch the nighttime spectacular from this dedicated zone.
Booking the Reserved Viewing Area has become extremely popular of late with many Guests wanting to secure a prime spot to watch the simply amazing
Disney Tales of Magic from.
Please do not worry though as there are lots of other great places to view the show. Can I let you into a little secret? I have never actually booked the Reserved Viewing Area in all of my many visits to Disneyland Paris.
Top Tip - My family usually stand behind the low railings, in the castle hub area, facing Sleeping Beauty Castle, closest to the walkway towards Frontierland. This is a great spot as no-one can stand in front of you and there are no trees obscuring your view.
If you have a chance, I would definitely recommend that you watch Disney Tales of Magic twice, during your trip. Once from close to Sleeping Beauty Castle and then again from towards the bottom of Main Street U.S.A. so that you can really take in all of the projections.
Maryam, no matter where you decide to watch the nighttime spectacular from, I have no doubt whatsoever that both you and your wife will have the most amazing time at Disneyland Paris this weekend.
Before I go, did you know that you can visit City Hall at
Disneyland Park or, Studio Services at
Walt Disney Studios Park to collect a birthday badge for your wife to wear throughout your trip? (I would recommend having a copy of your wife's ID with you, just incase you are asked to show this.) In my experience, Cast Members, Characters and even other Guests will stop to wish your wife a happy birthday which will be sure to add some extra pixie dust to her day.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
