Welcome to planDisney Audrey, I’m thrilled to help you get everything set for your upcoming stay at
Walt Disney World Resort. It’s always a joy to support our Guests as they prepare for their vacation, and I completely understand wanting to ensure everything is in place, especially when it comes to planning magical moments with little ones. Let’s take a look at your question and get you the information you need.
Since your 7-year-olds aren’t listed on your Disney hotel reservation, the system doesn’t recognize them as eligible for
Lightning Lane Passes. Even though you're staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort and booked through Disney with an event discount, the system only allows advance booking for guests officially linked to the reservation.
To fix this, you’ll need to add the children to your hotel reservation. Because your reservation was made directly with Disney, the most effective way to do this is by calling
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations. When you speak to a Cast Member, let them know you booked with an event discount, are staying at Coronado Springs, and need to add the three children to the reservation so they can be included in your Lightning Lane plans. The Cast Member may need to confirm room occupancy limits, but most standard rooms at Coronado Springs can accommodate at least four or five guests.
If you'd rather not call, you can use the "Chat with Us" feature in the
My Disney Experience app. Explain that you're staying on property but can’t see your children when trying to book Lightning Lanes. A Cast Member there can either make the update or direct your request to the appropriate team. Once the children are properly added to your reservation, you should be able to make Lightning Lane selections for them.
Audrey, I hope this helps you get everything set up for your magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you for visiting planDisney, and have a pixie dusted day!
