Wilderness Lodge Resort Pool

    I need to book a hotel for January 2023 and I've noticed hotels like wilderness lodge have nothing available in January, why is that? Are they closed or has the window not open for certain hotels?

    Hey there, Jaime, and welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!

    Today is a fantastic day to check off some Disney Vacation planning steps from your to-do list! You’ve already started off your Disney Vacation right by choosing to stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! Staying in a resort hotel ensures that the Disney Vacation fun doesn’t stop when you leave the Theme Parks. There are also a number of perks that come with being a resort hotel Guest. My favorite is definitely the Disney Transportation options! As the family navigator, it’s nice to sit back and let someone else drive from time to time. 

    Jaime, if you are unable to find availability online for your desired dates it can mean one of two things: there is no availability for the dates you searched, or your vacation party size exceeds the room capacity. I pulled up the website just now and saw availability for Disney’s Wilderness Lodge for 2 adults and 1 child from January 4 through January 7, 2023. These may not fit your specifics, but I wanted to check if there was any availability at the resort. But if you are unable to find availability at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to fit your desired date and party size, I suggest looking for availability across other Deluxe Resort hotels and Deluxe Villa hotels. These resorts typically offer larger space accommodations for bigger vacation parties. The great news is that the resort hotels are open and available for reservation now! And I'm pretty sure they are saving some room just for you!
