Hey there, hi there, Lynnette!
You're as welcome as can be to planDisney. Thanks for the opportunity to work together to help plan your next Disney cruise adventure. I'm looking forward to the sailing that my family has booked aboard the Disney Treasure too. We can't wait to experience the magic of Disney Cruise Line's most recent ship to carry passengers on the high seas.
I have enlisted the support of a travel agent several times to help with the details of booking a Disney Cruise Line vacation, including for our upcoming sailing on the Disney Treasure. They certainly can be helpful with finding the right combination of itinerary, stateroom, and sail date. However, it is not required. If you are looking for a specific stateroom number, stateroom type, sail date, or other such items of interest as you proceed with booking a Disney cruise, you may do so using the self-service booking tools using the Find a Cruise feature on the Disney Cruise Line's website not only allow you reserve specific staterooms, it also helps with the search for accessible staterooms.
When using the Find a Cruise feature, the first few steps lead up to selecting an itinerary and sail date that look interesting to you. After you select a specific sail date, the next step is to verify the number of passengers in each stateroom. During that step, you may use the checkbox for "Accessible Room." Once that checkbox is marked, you may choose from available features, including mobility, communication, or both. The screens that follow will then only show you available staterooms that match those accessibility requirements. Alternatively, Cast Members are also available to help with booking a reservation by telephone or by email. I've always found them to be extremely helpful, whether for providing useful information or for resolving issues that may come up.
Tony's Tip: Because the number of accessible staterooms is somewhat limited, I highly recommend booking as early as possible. It's also a good idea to follow Disney Cruise Line news on the Disney Parks Blog to be among the first to learn about when new itineraries are released.
I hope you have a marvelously magical cruise aboard the Disney Treasure, Lynnette. If there are other questions you have as you get ready to join Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie aboard the Disney Cruise Line, please feel free to reach out to us at planDisney again.
Have a great cruise, Lynnette!
