Hiya, Janice! It’s nice to find a fellow friend from the Volunteer State who is also a Disney fan, so I’m downright excited to get to help you plan your Disney Cruise adventure!
To answer your question right off the bat, it’s not necessary to call to book your cruise. That being said, if you’d like to
speak directly with a Disney Cruise Line representative, you can click to find the direct phone number. Personally, I like to do a little of my own research on the Disney Cruise website first before calling so I can ask them for advice and have them help me differentiate between the itineraries I’m considering.
The Cast Members are wonderful at walking you through every detail, from picking the perfect stateroom category or time of year to travel, to booking Port Adventures and
Ground Transportation to and from the airport on your embarkation and debarkation days. If you head to the “
Contact Us” page on the website, you can also
email those questions. At certain times of day, you may even find a “Live Chat” option on the website too.
If you prefer a more personalized approach to your vacation planning, you may want to consider working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. These travel professionals are often fellow Disney Cruise fans, and many offer extra planning support at no additional cost to you. But my best tip for saving money on sailings is to keep your eyes peeled for discounted prices on select sailings by heading to the “
Special Offers” page on the website. Just keep in mind that with these bookings, you will get to choose your stateroom category, but may not get assigned your exact room number until you arrive at port.
It sounds like this may be your first time at sea with Disney, but even if you're a seasoned
Castaway Club Member, booking your cruise is the first exciting step toward making unforgettable memories. Don’t hesitate to sail back to us here at
planDisney if you have more questions along the way; we’re always here to help make your vacation dreams come true!
Bon voyage,
Sami
