    Need assistance confirming reservation date and looking into options for assistance with handicapped family member

    Hey Howdy Hey Jamie and welcome to planDisney!

    One of the best parts about visiting Walt Disney World Resort is how inclusive everything is from the resort stay, amenities at the resort, as well as experiences in the parks. While everything may not be exactly the same as far as getting on and off ride vehicles, Disney has some great resources to help you navigate the parks efficiently. You also can do a lot with your My Disney Experience account and this is where most of your reservations will be located as well as your plans for the day. 

    If you do have a member of your family possibly needing assistance for navigating and transferring in the parks, I would suggest looking into Disney's Disability Access Service. You can pre-register for this service online or do it the day of your park visit by visiting Guest Services. If you think waiting in lines will be an issue, with this service you will be able to put your name on a list and your wait time reflects the current wait time of the attraction you want to experience. The best part is, you don't have to wait in line! You will be able to wait for this attraction where it is convenient for your and return at your designated time for a much lower wait time and easier access to transferring on and off the ride vehicles. Disney does have some great information as well for expected transfer options for most of their ride vehicles across all four theme parks. 

    From your My Disney Experience app, if you do decide to go with the Disability Access Service, you can make your reservations from this app as well as check on all of your reservations for the day. On your My Disney Experience app on the bottom right-hand corner tap on the three horizontal lines. Tap on the "Future Plans" menus and this should show all your linked reservations from your hotel accommodations, park tickets and reservations, dining reservations and is also a place you can make reservations as well.
