Hi Stefanie! Many congrats on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation and thanks so much for the question.
I have stayed at both Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs, and while I will admit these Moderate resorts are much larger and spread out than most of the Deluxe resorts, I must say that I have never had an issue with transportation. In my experience, most theme park destinations only take around 15 minutes by bus from door to door with Animal Kingdom taking closer to 25 minutes.
If time is of the essence and you are looking for a more desirable and conveniently located resort, I would recommend you consider upgrading to a
Disney Deluxe Resort. The Deluxe Resorts are generally located extremely close to the theme parks saving you precious travel time, not to mention the extremely luxurious accommodations and unmatched level of service.
An example would be
Disney's Polynesian Resort which is located on the monorail line and minutes from the Magic Kingdom. Another would be
Disney's Boardwalk Resort which is a 5 minute walk or short boat ride from the World Showcase entrance to Epcot.
No matter which resort you choose, I just know the most magical experience awaits you at the Walt Disney World Resort! Please let me know if I can answer any additional questions! I absolutely love spreading Pixie Dust on Disney vacations! -Amanda
